Columbia Asia Hospital, Bukit Rimau

Persiaran Anggerik Eria, Bukit Rimau, Selangor

Overview

Columbia Asia Hospital, Bukit Rimau, Shah Alam, Selangor, consists of 2-storeys above-ground and a basement to accommodate underground car parking. Fully equipped with modern facilities, the hospital has been operating since March 2013 and has an upcoming extension planned adjacent to its existing building to accommodate new medical services.

This 155-bed multi-displinary hospital was constructed in two phases:

Phase 1 involved 75 beds and consisted of 2-storeys of above-ground hospital space and a 3rd level as a mechanical floor to house all mechanical facilities and equipment. A basement was built as car parking space and to house various utilities.

Phase 2 is similar to Phase 1 but involved 80 beds. It also contained a radioactivity-resistant bunker.
