Perunding KCT Sdn Bhd was engaged to provide architectural, structural and factory layout planning for the Scomi Monorail Manufacturing Plant at Rawang. Scomi Rail is one of the world’s three leading providers of monorail systems. This manufacturing plant has a 12-station monorail assembly line and a 16-station electrical multiple unit assembly line. The facility has the capacity to produce 500 monorail cars a year. The research and development centre of Scomi Rail is also located in this building.
