Project

Wisma Sime Darby

Jalan Raja Laut, Kuala Lumpur

Overview

Located on Jalan Raja Laut in Kuala Lumpur, Wisma FGV is a Class A commercial building which was previously called Wisma Sime Darby. It was constructed in early 1980s with reinforced concrete structures and a tiled-wall façade. Due to the elements, the old tiled-wall started delaminating with pieces of tiles and cement mortar detaching and falling off, endangering the safety of the public as well as damaging surrounding properties. The owner decided to upgrade the façade with aluminium composite panels to enhance the image of the building and to solve the safety hazard problem.
